Archimed/Eureka supports the spokhand mission

Dec 2, 2024

Since its creation ten years ago, Archimed, an innovative $8 billion investment fund dedicated to healthcare, has consistently demonstrated its global impact and avant-garde vision. Through its Eureka Foundation, based in Lyon, Archimed supports projects with high transformative potential. Among them, the spokhand mission, focused on the valorization of sign language and support for the deaf community, benefits from essential financial and logistical support.

Innovative collaboration for inclusion

With 200 employees based in strategic hubs such as New York, Lyon, Tokyo and Singapore, Archimed offers unique expertise thanks to its transnational, multidisciplinary approach to healthcare.

Thanks to this approach, spokhand benefits not only from strategic financing, but also from logistical and relational support through Archimed's worldwide network.

At the latest “Purpose Day”, an annual event organized by Archimed and the Eureka Foundation, the associations we support were given the opportunity to present their progress. For spokhand, it was an ideal platform to share its mission and vision, while consolidating strategic relationships with Archimed employees and other partners. It was also an opportunity to underline common ambitions for social inclusion and sign language recognition.

spokhand: concrete results in the first few months

In just five months, spokhand has made significant progress:

- A strengthened social networking strategy, raising awareness and mobilizing a wide audience.

- A growing technical team, guaranteeing the implementation of structuring projects.

- Academic and community support, thanks to the backing of the university and the deaf community.

This progress demonstrates that spokhand, with Archimed's support, is turning its ambition into tangible action, creating a lasting impact for the deaf community.

A collective adventure supported by Archimed/Eurêka

Archimed/Eurêka's support, embodied in particular by Antoine Faguer, key partner of the fund, and Virginie Faucheur, President of the Eureka Foundation, marks a turning point for spokhand. This partnership goes beyond simple financing: it is based on rich human exchanges, a shared vision and a desire to innovate together.

Archimed/Eurêka, renowned for its impact campaigns, such as the one for the 2024 Paralympic Games featuring four Paralympic champions, continues to embody a committed and inclusive approach. Its support for spokhand reflects its ability to promote projects that combine social innovation and global health.

With Archimed/Eurêka, spokhand is ready to write a new page in its history, promoting sign language and building a more inclusive society. This promising partnership is still in its infancy.
