In November 2025, Tokyo will host the 25th Deaflympics, a major multi-sport event bringing together over 6,000 athletes, officials, referees, and staff from about 70 to 80 countries and regions. Taking place from November 15 to 26, the Games symbolize unity, performance, and inclusion. They are organized by Tokyo 2025 in cooperation with the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD), the historic body that has championed diversity through sports for more than a century.
