spokhand at LEAP (Saudia Arabia)

Feb 17, 2025

We’ve just wrapped up four incredible days at LEAP, the largest global event for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦. With more than 170,000 attendees, including the world’s leading tech giants, investors, governments, and media, LEAP is where the future is shaped — and this year, spokhand was right at the heart of it.

Our mission? To show the world that sign language is not just a tool for communication — it’s a language of innovation, connection, and inclusion.

We were honored to be represented by our official ambassador, Bob Dylem — a creative powerhouse with 1.5 million followers across platforms. A model, entrepreneur, and humorist, Bob is also a committed advocate for the Deaf community. His authenticity and reach opened doors, sparked meaningful conversations, and helped present spokhand to all kinds of audiences — from startups to state ministers.

At LEAP, we made waves by connecting with:

• International investors ready to support accessible innovation,

• Technology partners exploring AI and language tech integrations,

• Government officials and ministries focused on inclusion and digital transformation,

• Media outlets seeking impactful stories and social-driven technologies.

Together with Bob, and a powerful team of French professionals — not influencers, but genuine supporters of the Deaf community — we stood for something bigger than just tech. We stood for visibility, equality, and a world where sign language is embraced at every level of society.

We showcased our groundbreaking technology:

➡️ 3D avatars built on the world’s largest sign language database

➡️ Real-time sign language translation, powered by AI

➡️ Cross-language support (including Arabic Sign Language) to ensure no one is left behind

The reaction? Nothing short of electric. We heard one thing over and over: “This is the future.”

This momentum marks a major step in our international journey. We’re not just building tech — we’re building bridges. Between Deaf and hearing. Between languages and cultures. Between innovation and impact.

Because at spokhand, we believe that accessibility should never be an afterthought — it should lead the conversation.

We’re proud to help make sign language the language of the future.

And this is only the beginning.
